Contributing to Local Health and Medical Care
Collaboration to support Local Health
Through business activities rooted in the local community, we will contribute to the establishment of a "the Community-based Integrated Care System (Model)" and the development of local health and medical care.
Contribution to Local Health Care through Agreements, etc.
"Elderly care agreements" with local governments
In response to the serious problem of aging throughout the country, Alfresa has signed "elderly monitoring agreements" with many local governments and is cooperating in discovering abnormalities in elderly households. In addition, based on this agreement, we are communicating with local governments and contributing to supporting health promotion in the region.
Agreement signed to increase participation rates in cancer screening (Ibaraki Prefecture)
On October 1, 2021, we signed a collaboration agreement for the "Ibaraki Prefecture Cancer Screening Attendance Rate Increasing Corporate Collaboration Project". In order to increase the rate of cancer screening among prefectural residents, we are promoting cancer awareness by displaying posters created by our company to customers and holding web seminars on cancer for employees.
Contracted to prevent the worsening of diabetic nephropathy (Kodaira City, Tokyo)
Alfresa has been contracted to carry out National Health Insurance health care projects and diabetic nephropathy aggravation prevention projects in Kodaira City, Tokyo. For diabetic nephropathy patients who are in the pre-dialysis stage, pharmacists at local pharmacies in their living areas will work with the medical care institution that the patients visit to provide six months of treatment guidance using a program provided by Madia Corporation, a service provider contracted by Alfresa. Furthermore, by encouraging participation through family doctors and pharmacists, it becomes possible to support the development of treatment plans tailored to individual patients and the implementation of the family doctor's instructions.
